Marina Mizina

After graduating Yaroslavl School of Culture in 1984 on the profession “Worker of club – manager of amateur theatrical troupe” Marina Mizina worked as an art director and a methodologist in the Houses of culture in Vologda and Yaroslavl.

She began to work as a head of the literature and pedagogical department in the Vologda Puppet Theatre in 1986. In 1990 she was transferred to an actress.

Her most interesting parts were the parts of aunt Mary in the performance “What a boy Mytsyk” by E. Chepovetsky, the Bear-cub in “Snegurkina School” by G. Landau, Pidorka in “The Night on Ivana Kupala” by N. Gogol, Aunt in “The White Fairytales” by E. Ivanova and in the mono-performance “Gusi-lebedi” by Y. Uzenyuk and V. Borisov.

M. Mizina is the laureate of the Regional Reward named after A. Badaev for the part of Hionia Pafnutievna in the performance “The Shelter” by Bartenev’s play. The actress is a good singer; she participated in the following concert programs: “The Romances of A. Vertinsky” (1999), “Through windows of old photos” by Okudzhava’s songs (2000).

M. Mizina is awarded by the letters of commendation of the Vologda department of culture “For creative activity and a private contribution to development of culture” (1992, 2000).
