Premiere of William Shakespeare "As You Like It", the result of cooperation between our theatre and Burgas Puppet theatre. Directed by Christina Arsenova, designed by Emeliyana Andonova-Toteva.
"It is not the first visit of our Bulgarian colleagues to Vologda, - says the director of the theatre Elena Bukharina. - The friendship between Vologda and Burgas theatres exists since 2013 year, when we thought about the idea to cooperate between theatres. This project resulted as exchange tours. Previous Autumn Burgas theatre bring us its wonderful shows "The Princess and swineherd "and "Bon Bon ole". Our little viewers and their parents enjoyed them much. And in the August 2014 our theatre visited Burgas in response during the celebrations of 60th anniversary of the Burgas Puppet Theatre and the International Festival, gathered representatives of puppet theatres from Russia, Bulgaria, Italy, France and Spain. We have to say that Bulgarian audience already knows our theatre and visit our shows with pleasure. Huge success had several shows, such as "The Tale of Tsar Saltan" in Burgas. Show "Thumbelina" was awarded with diploma "For the development of international relations in the arts" after conquering sympathies of the audience during the festival of the name of Michail Lukatnik in Bulgarian city Yambol in 2013 year".
Having such a well-known among whole European theatre community director as Christina Arsenova making a show for our theatre certainly brings us a new stage of culture bounds development between our two theatres and between twin-towns Vologda and Burgas.
