Irina Karmashova

Irina Karmashova studied at Arkhangelsk School of Culture and Yaroslavl Theatrical Institute. In 2001 she began working at the Puppet Theatre “A Gold Cock” in Ozersk. The most remarkable parts there became parts of the Grasshopper, the Princess, the Water Elf, Robber Gip-po-po, and Clown Zyuzya.

Irina Karmashova has worked at the Vologda Puppet Theatre since 2002. This young actress is very bright and talented. Our spectators love all her parts including the Gold Chicken (“A Gold Chicken”), the Fox (“The Fox-cheat”), Benya (“Ret-tat! Who is there?”), Izora (“A Black Hen”), Shinkarka (“The Night on Ivana Kupala”), Zaynab (“Aladdin’s Magic Lamp”), Mashen’ka (“Mashen’ka and the Bear”), Miss Mary (“Who has said “Mew”?”) and others.

Irina Karmashova occupied the third place in the competition of reciters for “The Novel of madam N. N.” by A. P. Chekhov. She participated in the All-Russian theatrical festival “A Merry Goat” in 2003 and in the project “The Days of the Vologda Region in Moscow” in 2005. The actress is the laureate of the Regional Reward named after A. Badaev for the part of the Artist in the performance “The Fairytale – chain”.
